The King Alfred Project will be Frank Gehry's first major scheme in the UK and his plans brilliantly capture the essence of Brighton and the unique spirit and eneergy of the City.
HOK Sport Architecture
One of the largest architectural companies in the World and the leading sport and arena architects HOK Sport are responsible for many of the World's premier sporting venues.
Their collaboration with Frank Gehry has created a unique and stunning sports centre that will provide:
- 3 swimming pools
- Two large, multi-purpose sports halls
- Health and fitness suite with spa area
- Children's play areas and community meeting rooms
CZWG Architects
Piers Gough of CZWG is internationally recognized for the buildings he has created. He has been a commissioner for English Heritage and the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment and with his local knowledge of Brighton & Hove he has worked closely with Frank Gehry to evolve the plans for the King Alfred.
